Efficient 355-nm Beam Generation through a Double Walk-off Compensation

Abstract

We demonstrate a novel method for efficient frequency tripling of 1064-nm infrared beam. The walk-off in the frequency mixing is doubly compensated for, resulting in an improvement of the conversion efficiency and ultraviolet beam profile.
