Abstract

The dynamics of photoexcited carriers are studied in model pentacene-fullerene heterojunctions revealing signatures associated with charge-transfer states. The long lifetime of the higher-energy signature indicates robustness to non-radiative relaxation or carrier extraction mechanisms.
