Ultrafast photoemission electron microscopy: Imaging nonlinear plasmonic phenomena on the femto/nano scale

Abstract

By time-resolved two-photon photoemission electron microscopy, we generate movies with <50 nm spatial resolution and 330 as frame rate of surface plasmon dynamics defined by lithographically formed nano-optical elements in silver films.
