Advances in Laser Skin Resurfacing

Abstract

CO2 laser resurfacing of facial wrinkles, acne scarring, and other cutaneous lesions has generated tremendous interest and excellent clinical results. The recent introduction of the erbium laser has added further sophistication. Principles of their laser/tissue interaction and clinical use are presented.
