Abstract

We demonstrate simultaneous imaging by optical coherence microscopy (OCM) and two-photon-excited fluorescence (TPEF) microscopy. Independent contrast mechanisms derived from fluorescence and backscattered light provide complementary information on biological tissues. The coupling of OCM and TPEF microscopy is natural in that the two imaging modes may be run off the same laser source. The confocal arrangement for OCM provides a sub-micrometer resolution compatible with TPEF microscopy.
