Real-Time Optimization Method of Write Strategy for Optical Discs

Abstract

Real-time write strategy optimization method for optical discs is proposed. Write strategy is continuously optimized during recording against the variation of recording characteristics and environments. Effectiveness is experimentally confirmed with BD and DVD discs.
