Abstract
Microplastics in the ocean are considered to cause a severe health and environmental problems, and they are often evaluated by manual methods. We have developed a near-infrared imaging system to evaluate their various properties automatically. We have succeeded in obtaining images and identifying materials of microplastics set in water.
