Abstract

We report on time-resolved measurements of the longitudinal polarization associated with Bloch oscillations in a transmittive electro-optic sampling (TEOS) experiment. The Bloch oscillations are excited as a superposition of electronic states in a GaAs/AlGaAs superlattice and have been previously observed in four-wave-mixing (FWM)’ and THz-emission experiments.2
