Abstract
The bulk nonlinear susceptibility χ(2) of organic materials can be derived from the nonlinear character of individual active units by averaging the microscopy hyperpolarizability β on the orientational distribution function G(θ, ϕ, ψ) which depends on the Euler angles relating the molecular and the substrate frames.[1]
