Abstract

A common problem of simulations using Drummond-Gardiner positive P-representation[1] was large excursions from the average,[2] which we call divergences. However, some simulations were successful,[3] confirming the advantage of Drummond-Gardiner positive P-function.[1] In this paper, we report a simulation of the parametric oscillator dynamics in the sub-threshold regime,[2] in which the problems of divergences have been eliminated, and in the above threshold regime, where tunneling between two states occurs.[3]
