Novel Classical and Quantum Photonic Devices by Manipulating Light-matter Interactions in Low-dimensional Systems

Abstract

With an emphasis on low-dimensional materials, we will discuss how extreme confinement of fields produces new and unexpected materials response such as chirality, enhanced light emission and strong polariton dispersion.
