Abstract

We report the measured phase and amplitude response of an in-fiber grating resonator1. The optical bandpass resonator was formed in a single-mode fiber by a photo-refractive induced Bragg reflector2. The grating length was about 22 mm with a 1 mm central gap to facilitate formation of the resonator. The resonant peak occurred at 1547.1 nm. The 3 dB optical bandpass is 4 GHz wide.
