Space-Mapping Based Optimization for Fiber-Optic Transmission Systems

Abstract

A two-stage space-mapping technique is used for optimization of fiber-optic transmission system performance. The computation effort can be significantly reduced by using space mapping technology compared with the traditional direct optimization without losing much accuracy.
