Investigation of the sensitivity enhancement of SPR sensor based on continuous film metallic gratings*

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

A SPR sensor based on continuous film metallic gratings is investigated for enhance sensitivity using RCWA. Compared to conventional prism-SPR sensors, the structure can provide sensitivity enhancement by 2.86 times and the SEF increased as the grating period decreased.
