Cyanobacteria Detection via VNIR Hyperspectral Imaging and Raman Spectroscopy [Headwall Photonics and Coastal Ocean Vision]

Abstract

Human waste and run-off create conditions for a bloom of cyanobacteria. Hyperspectral imaging was used in conjunction with direct sample collection to create spectral libraries of harmful algal populations to detect and quantify their populations.
