Synthetic hyperspectral data for global water quality algorithm development

Abstract

Radiative transfer modeling is currently being used to develop a state- of-the-art synthetic optical dataset of paired hyperspectral top and bottom of atmosphere reflectances with matching bio-geophysical parameters in order to leverage machine learning retrieval approaches.
