Temperature Dependence of Fe:ZnSe Laser Output Characteristics under ~4 μm Radiation Excitation

Abstract

Temperature dependences of spectroscopic (absorption, fluorescence, lifetime) and laser output properties (energy, oscillation spectra) of the Fe2+:ZnSe laser under ~4 μm radiation pumping are presented. Wide laser oscillation spectrum of up to ~4.9 μm is demonstrated.
