Quantum computer-based first principles simulation of high harmonic generation

Abstract

We have successfully calculated the high harmonic generation from one-dimensional helium model irradiated by an intense laser pulse on an actual quantum computer using the time-dependent optimized unitary coupled cluster and the Natural-Expansion ansatz.
