Abstract

We present a simple setup to detect dispersion related pulse duration fluctuations in an ultrafast laser system. By applying pre-chirping of the pulses in combination with spectral-broadening a measurement signal can be generated at the repetition rate of the laser that allows to detect these changes with precision of 200 attoseconds.
