Concerted High-Energy Proton Emission in Laser-Induced Fragmentations of Polyatomic Molecules

Abstract

Using multi-particle coincidence detection we are able to show that carbon-hydrogen molecules exposed to moderate laser-intensities can completely disintegrate from high charge states by a quasi-concerted emission of all protons with high kinetic energies.
