Temporal Scale-Invariance for Automatic Event Recognition Using the Mellin Transform

Abstract

Previously, we proposed an automatic event recognition system using spatio-temporal holographic correlation (STHC), which is inherently shift-invariant in space and time. Here we show how to make it scale-invariant in time using the Mellin Transform.
