Modeling and Correcting Pincushion Distortion in Wide-angle Projection Images of Diffractive Optical Elements

Abstract

This paper presented a model of pincushion distortion in wide-angle projection images of diffractive optical elements (DOE). Correction of the distortion was verified using a Huygens-Fresnel principle and the fabricated DOEs showed the results correctly.
