Generation of High Repetition Rate Pulse Train by Using a Suitably Designed Silicon Core Optical Fiber

Abstract

A silicon core single-mode fiber with silica cladding is designed and optimized. High repetition rate pulses are generated through it from a single input pulse at sufficiently shorter optimum length compared to standard silica fibers.
