Abstract

Pulses with Gaussian profile generated in Kerr-nonlinear microresonators with dominant pure quartic modal dispersion are reported, and their conversion efficiency and 3dB bandwidth is studied for wavelength-division-multiplexing (WDM) data communication applications.
