Quasi-Parabolic Pulses in the Far Field of Dispersion of Nonlinear Fiber

Abstract

The deviation of the shape of quasi-parabolic pulses from the ideal parabolic was calculated using misfit parameter. Optimal conditions for soliton order and fiber length required for nearly parabolic shape formation is found.
