Abstract
A kilojoule-class Nd:Glass laser known as Z-Beamlet has been constructed to perform x-ray radiography of high energy density science experiments conducted on the megajoule-class z-pinch Z facility at Sandia National Laboratories. The combination of Z-Beamlet and Z provide a unique platform for studying high energy density science in the laboratory.
