Atmospheric Propagation Testing Using Broadband Thulium Fiber Systems

Abstract

Broadband ultrashort pulse and amplified spontaneous emission thulium fiber systems are utilized for atmospheric transmission testing. These systems enable precise characterization of H2O and CO2 absorption in the 2-µm wavelength regime.
