66 fs, 3 W all fiber Yb3+-doped mode-locked fiber laser

Abstract

We present a mode-locked all-normal-dispersion double-clad Yb-doped fiber laser with 3 W output average power at 81 MHz repetition rate for 37 nJ chirped pulses, which can be compressed to 66 fs, with 400 KW peak power.
