Abstract

Nano-optomechanical metasurface arrays (MSAs) are a class of two-dimensional metamaterials with periodic subwavelength structures which are mechanically actuated by electromagnetic waves. In this work we demonstrate GHz optomechanical resonances in a dielectric silicon carbide (SiC) metasurface array.
