Abstract
Many problems of the resonant interaction of atoms and polarized light (for example, the mechanical action of light on atoms, nonlinear polarization spectroscopy and so on) require knowing the steady-state solution of the generalized optical Bloch equations for the atomic density matrix, with allowance for the Zeeman structure of the energy levels involved.
