Abstract
High resolution two photon spectroscopy of the Muonium 1S -2S transition provide excellent opportunities for testing bound state quantum electrodynamics (QED), searching deviation from standard theory, and for the further development of modem laser spectroscopy. Fundamental constant, for example the Rydberg constant and the mass of the muon, can be extracted with very high accuracy. In order to utilize the advantages of the narrow natural line width of the 1S - 2S transition, and reach goal in precision, the experiment will need an absolute optical frequency standard working near 732 nm optical wavelength.
