Abstract

Lasing without inversion, electromagnelically induced transparency, enhancement of the refraction index and other coherent effects appearing in strongly driven three-level atoms have been intensively studied recently both theoretically and experimentally [1]. Their analysis has been traditionally based on the master equation where the interaction of atoms with a reservoir is described by means of some relaxation constants which are supposed to be independent on the driving Held.
