Photoacoustic spectroscopy for biophysical gas analyses

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Infrared CO laser based photoacoustic instruments are used to monitor on-line trace gases during respiration of insects (water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane) and by (post) anoxic effects in plant tissue (acetaldehyde, ethanol, ethylene).
