Abstract

The Zeeman effect for molecular Rydberg states was the subject of experimental and theoretical research in a number of works (see, for ex., Ref. 1). In spite of the availability of the highly precise experimental data, which was obtained by the multiphoton laser spectroscopy technique, its interpretation presents certain difficulties.
