High Power VUV Stimulated Emission from Two-Photon Excited H2*

Abstract

Stimulated emission corresponding to several B-X transitions in H2 ranging from 127 nm to 158 nm at efficiencies up to 0.5% and a maximum energy of 200 µJ has been observed after two-photon excitation of H2 at 193 nm.
