Numerical investigation of fast layer hologram calculation with compressing layer images and point-spread functions

Abstract

We propose a fast layer hologram calculation method from RGB-D images by compressing both layer images and point-spread functions using the wavelet transform and investigate the calculation speed and the reconstructed image quality through simulation.
