Abstract

in the presented paper we propose the dual wavelength method based on compact VCSEL laser diode. This type of source has many applications due to its small size and high temporal and spatial coherence. Another advantage of VCSELs is the possibility to adjust the output wavelength in the range of 2 nm by changing the current or temperature. This property allows to realize the dual wavelength digital holography for shape measurement. Preliminary results with the VCSEL for shape measurement of the object are represented and shortcomings of this technique are considered as well.
