Polarization holography materials and applications

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Modulating orientation of optical anisotropy axis can transform half-wave retardation films into lenses, prisms, axicons, spiral phase plates, and more. Polarization holography, particularly, digital, expands the variety and capabilities of the new generation optics.
