Frequency-Domain Quantum Processing via Four-Wave Mixing

Abstract

We report quantum frequency translation with near unity efficiency and low noise via Bragg-scattering four-wave mixing. We demonstrate several applications including deterministic generation of single photons via frequency multiplexing and frequency-domain Hong-Ou-Mandel interference.
