Advances in Non-Invasive Full-State Fluid Capture

Abstract

Schlieren-tomographic methods yield instantaneous 3D measurements of refractive index distributions in asymmetric flows. A temporal analysis of sequences of 3D volumes enables the extraction of dense velocity fields. The talk discusses recent developments in the area.
