Superconducting Single-Photon Counting Pixels

Abstract

We present single-photon counting pixels realized by the monolithic integration of superconducting-nanowire single-photon detectors with Josephson electronics. These pixels are scalable to large-format sensor arrays and are compatible with CMOS array readout architecture.
