Mid-Wave Infrared Black Phosphorus Photodetector Enhanced by an Integrated Metasurface Grating

Abstract

We designed, fabricated, and characterized mid-wave infrared black phosphorus photodetectors with integrated metal-insulator-metal metasurface gratings. We show that our metasurface grating increases responsivity by ~7 times at room temperature.
