Integrated Optical Frequency Combs for Low-Phase Noise mm-waves Generation

Abstract

We experimentally implement a low-phase noise mm-waves generator based on integrated optical frequency comb, which provides -80 dBc/Hz for 1 kHz offset at 28 GHz and spectral purity equivalent to commercially available RF generator.
