Polarization-insensitive thin-film lithium niobate electro-optic modulator

Abstract

Based on the thin-film lithium niobate platform, we experimentally demonstrate a polarization-insensitive electro-optic modulator which features a polarization-dependent loss of 0.35 dB and an on-chip loss of less than 2 dB.
