4-channel DWDM System using Optical Frequency Combs and Active Demultiplexer for Data Center Interconnects

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate an OFC and active demultiplexer based 12.5 GHz DWDM system for DCIs. Successful transmission of directly modulated 17.5 Gb/s/λ 16-QAM DMT data is accomplished by using DD-LMS equalizer to overcome cross-channel interference.
