Multi-millijoule broadband pulse generation at 3 µm through a 2-µm pumped OPCPA

Abstract

A ZnGeP2-based optical parametric chirped-pulse amplifier pumped by a 2 µm Ho:YLF generated a 3 mJ pulse at 3 µm. The bandwidth supports a 50 fs transform-limited duration.
