In vivo Quantitation of Circulating Tumor Cells by High-speed Intravital Laser-scanning Confocal Microscopy

Abstract

By utilizing custom-design high-speed video-rate laser-scanning confocal microscope system for visualizing fast-flowing cells at the great saphenous vein of mouse, we quantitated circulating tumor cells of whole body blood, in vivo, by hemocytometric imaging analysis.
