Abstract

Periodically crystallized nanostructure was self-assembled inside Al2O3-R2O3 binary glass (R = Y, La, Dy) with a low glass formation ability by the femtosecond laser irradiation. Such polarization-dependent nanostructures exhibit periodic modulation in magnetic properties.
