Optically controlled microwave photonic dual-band filter with ultrafast reconfigurable capability

Abstract

An ultrafast reconfigurable microwave photonic dual-band filter with four operation states is demonstrated. Through the control of optical pump power for nonlinear polarization rotation, gigahertz speed reconfiguration between different states is experimentally demonstrated.
