Highly Accurate Multichannel Fiber Transfer Delay Measurement

Abstract

We report a method for multichannel fiber transfer delay measurement based on phase discrimination and frequency measurement. It achieves a 0.2 picosecond resolution with a 1 picosecond accuracy, and large dynamic range over 50 kilometers.
